Product description
The MobilGC is a gas-phase chromatograph designed for ease of use and robust field applications. When combined with the Sampling Box, it enables precise gas composition measurements according to ASTM standards D 2163 (LPG analysis) and D 2598 (evaluation method).
Thanks to its rugged case and internal gas supply, the MobilGC allows reliable LPG analysis directly at the measurement site. The system offers measurement sensitivity that meets the ASTM requirements, covering a range from 0.1% to 100% for clean gas components.
Sample preparation is simple: the Sampling Box is connected to the LPG cylinder or sampling line and to a sampling bag. A 5 mL sample of liquefied gas is expanded into the bag. This method also enables the preparation of gas mixtures, for instance by adding further components for calibration purposes.
For analysis, the sampling bag is connected directly to the MobilGC. The gas sample is separated using a heated column. With MobilGC’s user-friendly software, chromatograms can be quickly and easily evaluated according to standards. The integrated expert evaluation system presents results both as concentrations and as total MON numbers, or MON values for each individual component.
